Very interesting twist on Dicken´s Christmas Carol. I enjoyed the story, I just wish it would have been more spooky as I know Chris Priestley can write pretty spooky stories. But in overall, it is a great read as an addition to the original story. I reccomend you to read the original and then continue with this, it will give you some extra story lines and twists and plots you will love. The ghost part here is very good, the hate and anger of the main character is well described, really, a great addition to the original story.
