Wow, I don’t know what I was expecting but I got exactly what I wanted. Which in the end… well, you should actually get to the end first.
I loved, loathed, envied, and pitied the main character. She made me laugh, gasp, ask “what the fuck” to the air, feel happy and sad and deeply reflective. Any millennial who lived through the early 2000’s should read this book. And that’s all I’ll say about that.
In the end, I think the main character got exactly what she wanted. “No fair.”
