being angry at her for
not having the solution,

Characters- 5/5*
Such depth for such a fast paced book as this. Even in the smallest of characters Sanderson creates a 3D image for readers to enjoy.

Conflict- 4/5*
A little dragged out for my taste, but in the end it was worth the wait. I think in some ways the subplot took away from the overarching plot but eventually we got back on track.

Plot- 4/5*
Really great structure to it I loved the framing. Again the rising action had some inconsistencies for me, but in the end it worked.

Setting- 5/5*
Brilliantly fascinating. How Sanderson is so good at this I will never know. It was like looking into someone’s imagination without having to work for it.
Theme- 5/5*
Such a quotable book with so many themes to get out. I took away sometimes going through hard thing is the only way to change into the person you need to become (even though you can’t see that right now).
