Therapy by Sebastian Fitzek

5.0

Hello there! This is my first review for 2019!
I had read [b:Abgeschnitten|13643709|Abgeschnitten|Sebastian Fitzek|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1336669419s/13643709.jpg|19259368] in which Fitzek was a co-writer I really liked his writing style. Next in order was [b:Das Paket|28254289|Das Paket|Sebastian Fitzek|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1469822388s/28254289.jpg|48292137] which I really liked. There's no surprise in deciding to read the therapy as well.
For once again, there was a huge fuzz around this book. I think that it really worthed it.
Just like the packet, therapy had a quick-moving plot with constant plot twists. The descriptions of space, time and the involving characters.
Right from the start, the plot magnetizes our interest til the end. When I read a book of Fitzek, throughout the whole book, I got this feeling, that this plot certainly contains some paranormal elements. But this is exactly what makes it so fascinating. Fitzek writes in a realistic way, so all the extremely weird stuff and is going on, will be given a logical explanation you can't even imagine at the moment.
At the most crucial parts of the plot, the chapters are short and always end with a cliffhanger.
Fitzek has a standard structure. What do I mean by that? From the very first five pages, Fitzek introduces you to an addictive storyline. He keeps beating you up with action, throughout the whole book and in the end, when you are completely lost and desperately seeking for an explanation, he will give it to you. BUT, this won't be the full one. In the last ( approximately) 15 pages, he will do a couple of turns in the plot, leaving you hanging over there, once again. Then, the full explanation will come, leaving you so surprised.
I am really looking forward for next books of his.
