Did not finish book. Stopped at 49%.

DNF @ 49%  - it got to the point where I was dreading listening to this audiobook. If a book does not bring me joy then it does not get finished. I was reading another book with a female lawyer at the same time and I couldn’t even distinguish between them. This was just so boring. To be fair, I did not read the other companion novels with this book but it shouldn’t matter if they’re truly just companions.
