Well bunnies, that was a hella wild ride. Still unsure how I feel about it. Every time I felt like I was starting to get to grips with the confusing story, it just kept going. π€£
I quite liked the perspective of the story, watching the MC lose her way as we saw more of the world and Bunnies, and then towards the end seeing how the story continued to change form was v interesting.
I did find the writing in the beginning (and in parts throughout) to be a little overly descriptive and thought the thesaurus and metaphors needed a bit of rest π
. The story couldβve maybe really benefited from this or having the writing style time well with the progression of the story to give a fuller effect. The beginning also felt a little rushed, not much context or world-building was given before we were plunged into the thick of this wild story.
That being said, I still finished it within a day and it certainly is one that gives the βwhat the hell have I just readβ factor. So itβs definitely got that going for it.
