This is the first cozy mystery I read and I hope it is not an accurate representation of them because I did not have a good time getting through this.
The main character Krissy is so annoying. She moves to a town and barely knows anyone and she thinks she can just accost these people and ask them extremely intrusive questions to solve a crime. The thing is she acts so erratic and eccentric that this book isn't believable at all. She was a terrible friend to her coffee shop co-owner and I kid you not at one point in the book she talked about wanting to slap another characters mother, even though SHE was the one who barged into their house asking intrusive questions about a murder and not caring that the widow of the victim was in tears. The mystery wasn't captivating and once I got to the reveal it was anti climatic. This series is not for me.
