Cider with Rosie is a wonderfully vivid memoir of childhood in a remote Cotswold village..... is the description of the edition which I read. And yes, its exactly that, from the first line to the last.
I enjoyed it immensely. The description of the authors childhood made me remember some of my experiences, though very small and unimportant, they are dear.
So many things that we tried like fiddling with fire, dipping our head in water to see if we can open our eyes, etc etc. Narration was a dreamy poetic journey, where I dreamily sailed. This book makes you dream, not alert. And I was happy to dream in a dreamy way.
