Book 2 in this series picked up the pace. An enemies to lovers turned obsession and then touch them and die. The Sick Boys adopted a new member albeit unwillingly and have their work cut out keeping her in check.
One of the “bad guys” I suspected quickly, but another was a bit shocking, I suspect something else that involves Ava and it sounds like she is much more important than she was lead to believe growing up.
This story is addictive, spicy, and violent, so of course, I ate it up. A war is coming and the boys are out for blood with their Queen leading the charge.
