Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs?: Big Questions from Tiny Mortals About Death by Caitlin Doughty
3.0
A little bit of funny, a whole bunch of history
I once applied for a job at a funeral home, which should tell you the level of “death” I feel comfortable with (which is, quite a little bit). Having a sense of humor and healthy curiosity is likely why — and why I read this book. Written in a question-and-answer format, I found myself scanning over quite a bit of the historical parts, as that does not quite capture my attention. It is a well-written book, but the black and white drawings of people and skeletons were not my cup of tea. So to speak.
