I didn't think it was possible for me to love the Bloodlines series even more than I already did but this book proved me wrong. Despite all the amazingness the story and the characters brought to this book, what I loved the most was probably Adrian's character development, along with his relationship with Sydney (can I just say the end made me go asdfghjkl). He's changed so much since VA, but at the same time he still remains the same. It's obvious he's trying to become a better person. He's probably my favorite character in the series.

I also love how Sydney is changing. She's slowly realizing the Alchemists aren't always right and that she has the right to stand up for what she believes in. Her views on Moroi and dhampirs, and even humans, are changing as well and that couldn't make me happier. She's finally starting to see that everything in life isn't always black or white.

I have to admit her reaction to the kiss pissed me off a little, because she knows she craves it too, but at least she is remaining herself and isn't suddenly changing how she feels and what she believes in for a guy. Hopefully, her opinion will change...
