Friends with Secrets

Uuuufda. This one was HEAVY.
I took a break from thrillers for a while as I was growing a bit tired of the genre. That being said, this was a good entrance back into the genre.
One thing I liked about this book-- that the husbands were not awful. I was SO refreshing not to have them be absent, cheaters, or abusive. The other? We love the girlhood between Ainsley and Nikki.
Now, some of the dilogue was cringey. The cringe-inducing conversations are some of the reasons I had to rate this four instead of five stars. The constant mention of Nikki also being "so forgetful and disorganized" got sooooo old. I get that there was a reason behind it, but it was too much. We get it!
Overall, this one made me legitimately nervous, which I enjoy in a good thriller.
