The 'Not-So-Obvious Secret' this book promises is in reality some pretty obvious, often repeated advice that you can find in many self-help books: wake up earlier and focus on a couple of good habits before you deal with the rest of the day.
In almost every chapter, the Miracle Morning brand is promoted heavily and the reader is nudged to the website (probably to leave your email address in exchange for some documents or checklists). Most of the suggestions are illustrated by anecdotal stories of their effects, but scientific justification of the method is lacking. The long list of self-help gurus the author credits in the final paragraphs of the book indicates how much of 'Miracle Morning' consists of recycled ideas from others.
I do think that waking up earlier to start the day with some healthy habits is a good idea, don't get me wrong. But this book contains too much fluff and recycled common sense to really inspire. Your mileage may vary.
