Unpopular opinion but such a crap, cliche book. It reads like a YA book but is clearly written for adults and the writing is just so basic... not everything needs to be spelled out all the time.

The basic boring story line of a guy who doesn't want commitment who then changes his mind for a girl. I totally get that the story is good to understand abusive relationships more and why women don't leave but unfortunately, the writing and plot didn't do it justice as the book just had so many cringey parts to it. The fact that her name is Lily Blossom Bloom is enough for me. I haven't read 50 Shades but some of it was giving me that vibe... he knocked on 29 houses to beg her to let him fuck her, lol such amateur writing.
