Despite it being a reread and already knowing what would happen, I still couldn’t bring myself to put the book down. There are definitely some writing errors (I read a first edition copy) that I am sure were wheedled out in later publications. I really enjoyed being reminded of the true story compared to the changes that were made in the movies. And it was really neat to notice some parallels between Ballads and this book!
