I enjoyed this book, but definitely not as much as the first. I felt as though some additional editing would have done it well. Parts of it, despite what should have been very fast paced, as is the style in this series, still felt slow because it was a bit repetitive.

I mean, how many times can Xaden and Violet have the same fight?

That all being said, I’m still hooked on this series and enjoyed the book! And despite wanting to continue and know what happens next, I think I’d be happy if the author was given more time between releases to fine tune the book more.
