This story is heavy on police procedure and the politics behind each department but I thoroughly enjoyed where this netted out.
As I was reading this I could visually see this in my head as a mini series since I approached this in chunks just due to the sheer size and fact that this was a translation version of the original story.
the last 15-10% of the book really paid off in my opinion, but the build to that is slow and there is A LOT of backstory and random turns before we get there. This may not be for everyone, but I definitely enjoyed it and would recommend!
