I can’t handle this book right now. I don’t know if it’s the political climate or what but it’s definitely not helping and it seems unnecessarily violent.
I find the two perspectives maddening. As soon as I get into one story I’m ripped away and placed in a completely different one only to be swapped back. It makes it very difficult to follow the many threads of this story ans keep any details straight.
I liked plot and I might come back to this later in a different headspace but I’m shelving it for now.
