Ugh, I was all ready to give this 5 stars and then the ended happened. I’m bitter right now. I need to get a good nights rest, so I can attempt to understand why I should change my fake rating to the true one.

Cole.

You “died”. Asshole. I’m annoyed. Showing up like It in the end. You think he’s a figment if your imagination, but nope. Syke.

He’s the past. Danni finally got over him. SHE GOT OVER HIM. And he completely ruined it.

He’s got to be some kind of agent or spy (he earns a few points back for that). I think I might’ve had a fleeting assumption about that in the beginning with all his vague mysterious lines about the job he has as an auditor. Makes sense.

Trace.

Hm, Trace grew on me. He’s infinity. You can’t take back that infinity. But then we had to go and find out the big shocker...COLE AND TRACE WERE/ARE BEST FREAKING FRIENDS! I am frazzled. How does this happen?? Trace is Trace. I still think he’s awesome even after this.

Coherent sentences have left the building.

Oh my, even Cole’s tattoos were a lie. Damn, I think that might be even more surprising than the fact that he was supposed to be dead. Yeah, I’m becoming more bitter. Especially since I have to read the next two books. I mean, I can’t stop now. Ugh. Love-hate relationship with this story.

But anyway, I was not expecting the ending and for that I absolutely adore this book. 6 STARS all the way.

Things better work out (meaning I want Trace and Danni to finish their dance routine for their wedding). I need to prepare myself for the worst possible outcome.
