I loved this book. The overall-ness reminds me of Slaughterhouse Five, of which I still need to finish. I am glad Trumbo wrote this, I'm glad it is still being published and still being read. I think our country is too used to war that we forget the ugly side of it. This book, though fiction, brings that ugly side to your eyes. Thinking of Joe, I just want to cry.
