this book focused more on building out the secret society that has been chasing after cammie. it was interesting to see the total pivot from the beginning of this series to what this book is: a story of a deeper conspiracy and secret societies. i do wish there was more about zach and cammie together, since they are a cute couple, but it is also great to learn more of his backstory. 

if you’re already this deep into the series, def read!!
