Lost in the Forest by Evangeline Priest

4.0

I just finished reading A Harpy Time by Dee St.Holm. I couldn’t resist diving into the story of Theo Essex, heir to a bankrupt baronetcy and loyal brother. After meeting Theo in the Monterous Duke & I and seeing the care he takes for his sister, I was smitten. So naturally, I needed this anthology so I could assuage my curiosity. The one night affair of Theo & Enid was a mischievous, exciting romp. Theo may look the studious waif, but he hides a beastly side within and he doesn’t hold back from meeting Enid challenge for challenge. I loved their dynamic of one-upmanship. Enid is a strong, self-reliant woman and rather than be intimidated by that, Theo revels in its beauty. This is a quick read, but it doesn’t hold back and I can’t wait for them to meet again.
