i was pleasantly surprised by this book! the first book was good, but this one really made it more of a mission for the reader to feel all the emotions possible. it was tense and had me on the edge of my seat at times, but also had me swooning over the romance, friendships, and found family vibes. really had me kicking my feet and then wanting to scream in frustration a few chapters later when things were tense.

this does have some grammatical errors, but compared to my copy of the first book, the errors were very minor here.

can’t wait to see how things develop in books 3 & 4, especially with how it ended for each of the characters!!
