Ugh, i HATE DNF'ing. No matter how bad a book is, i like to complete it. it's kind of like i feel like the book has beaten me or something, but for this one, i just had to stop. I just didn't care.

Once again, the book is separated into 3 stories. i read the first 2 but stopped about 10 pages into the last one.

1st story: a girl finds a doll that even after she throws it away, continually wakes her up at 1:35am. The story itself is annoying because it takes what's basically a good person and slowly drives her insane over the course of the story. it's unpleasant to read, and not in a good, horror way. just in a "why is this good person being tormented for literally no reason?" and it ends as terribly as you might expect. 1.5/5

2nd story: this one is about a guy who guards what i assume to be sister location and bad stuff happens to him involving small ballerina dolls for no real reason. Kind of like the first story how the girl kept getting more and more crazy, in this one, he's getting more and more sick. it's just not a fun read. 1.5/5

3rd story. This is the one i didn't finish. its about an unpopular boy who makes friends with a new kid who's popular, and at this point, i just ran out of steam. after 2 terrible stories in a row, i just couldn't bring myself to read a third one. and the story started out with a premise i really didn't care about. It's the longest of the 3 and i had no desire to read another 100 pages of this. N/A / 5

I mean, i'll probably look at 4 and see if maybe that one's better. this may have just been a dud 3rd book, as i really did enjoy the ball pit story in the first book and the plushtrap story in the 2nd. so i usually liked at least 1 of the 3 stories. Honestly though, this one was a flop that i just couldn't finish.

1.5 out of 5 rounded up to a 2.
