I was just getting back into romance when I read this book, and I just love the writing and style of Elle Kennedy’s Off Campus series. Initially I had a bit of difficulty because I wasn’t a huge Garrett fan, but he grew on me so much as the book continued and I adored him by the end. The development of him and Hannah’s relationship was *chef’s kiss*. I also loved how this book tackled some more serious issues like

sexual assault/rape, as well as abuse

in a way that didn’t belittle their seriousness and also emphasized the importance of a caring and patient partner. The relationship felt real and I just love the center couple so much. I would definitely recommend this book (and series).
