well this was disappointing.
The story was boring and it barely scratch the surface. I was waiting and hoping through all the book that it will get better but it didn't. I was expecting it to be more deep and meaningful and those few times that it was it wasn't done properly. Half the time it didn't make sense and it was unnecessary and unconnected. And forced.
I hated both main characters. I guess River even more than Flynn. During the whole book she wants to be loved and once she is she almost ruins everything because in her head she still isn't loved even though she was loved already in the beginning. Her mom, friends, dad,... she doesn't appreciate it. Another thing that really bothered me is her obsession with Romeo and Juliet. This is totally subjective and reason why I hate it is not in the book but in me since I don't like the play.
Also what's with River jealousy??
I wouldn't go into writing style too much because I read translated version and I really hope that original is better cause this one sucks.
