5 stars, hands-down one of the most engrossing books I have ever read. I felt like I was practically there with them. I literally forgot about the real world, it’s so fascinating every time it happens, which is every time I get my hands on a good book. Now, the series was one rollercoaster ride with a mind-boggling plot-twist at every turn. I kept turning the pages, I just couldn’t stop.

It’s a magical (well, not exactly magical) world with normal people and peculiar people, and also all kinds of beasts you end up falling in love with. But the best part is, you don’t know whom to trust – Who’s a traitor? Who’s loyal? And who’s a fucking sack of love?

Loveee Sharon tho, he is my favourite character in this series even with his rather short role. I say “short”, not “small”, mind you. He plays a short but very important role. I loved him from the start. He is that mysterious character you can’t help but like.

This unpredictable, thrilling, multi-era story is perfect for readers like me, who’s a sucker for fantasy, that is. Mr. Riggs is an incredible writer, the character development was A+. He took care of all the small details about the peculiardom and all those freaky images were, well, really freaky. I really did not want it to end, I tried so hard to slow down and not gobble it up in three days but hey, it was truly mesmerising, I just couldn’t help it.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE FOURTH BOOK.
