I really enjoyed this alternate Italian world. The political intrigue and schemes were a nice change of pace from anything I’ve read lately. Zaira’s street wise smarts play well with Amalia’s book smarts. I think I’ll definitely continue on and see what happens next. Definitely some twists and turns that I didn’t see coming.
