You'll Do: A History of Marrying for Reasons Other Than Love by Marcia A. Zug

informative medium-paced

4.25

This book was a really engaging look at what "marriage" has meant to (Western) society. It was helpful to have read this in alongside other books about women and provided a larger framework for some of the issues discussed in those books. I found the book to be easy to read, funny without being disruptive to the point, and comforting, in a way, as a single person in her 30s.
