The Shadow Tracer by Meg Gardiner

3.0

This book was fine, entertaining without requiring a lot of brainpower, pretty much your typical thriller. I was disappointed that the main character, who started out so kick-ass, was pretty quickly reduced to a terrified woman constantly yearning for the male good guy to rescue her, but honestly that's such a common occurrence in this type of book that I just squelched down my disappointment and moved on. Overall, the book was solidly entertaining from start to finish, which made it a great read on my daily bus commute, but I can't give it more than three stars.
