I honestly have no idea where to begin talking about this book. I fee like we all know and have read a Christine Lauren book before, and we know their writing style so well now. But this book, was just not it. I didn't hate it or anything, but it didn't feel like a romance at all, like AT ALL. It felt like an adventure book to me with a sprinkle of second chance romance on the side. Which is fine honestly, and I wouldn't have minded it, if it didn't take forever for Lily and Leo to actually start the treasure hunt sooner than halfway through the book, you know?
Anyways, I did enjoy some aspects of this book, it is a Christina Lauren book after all so you know it'll have some fun writing. I really liked the treasure hunting aspect with the touch of mystery of will they find the treasure or won't they. The twist at the end was pretty good too!
CLo is always bringing something new to the table, and I commend them for that, and I am glad I read this book, because let's face it, I will read every CLo book that comes out!
