Stone Cold Touch by Jennifer L. Armentrout
5.0
2020 update: omg I was just rereading this review and can’t believe I unironically said bae MULTIPLE times in it, so cringy
~~~~~
Flawless, just like every Jennifer L. Armentrout book.
THE BUFFY REFERENCES WERE MY FAVORITE THING OH MY GOSH.
About the love triangle: When I was reading White Hot Kiss I was completely team Roth, like Zayne wasn't even a contender in my book. But somehow during Stone Cold Touch I found myself calling Zayne bæ and I was thinking, wait... Roth is bæ. No, maybe Zayne is bæ. But Roth. But ZAYNE. So now I'm as torn about who I want Layla to end up with as Jennifer. L. Armentrout probably intended her readers to be. (Except I think I'm leaning toward Roth but we'll see by the end of Every Last Breath which I'm starting... Now.)
