Good Wives
by Louisa May Alcott
Again, to "your husband should be a priority even when children are born" but that's on me. What did I expect from a book titled "Good Wives" I played myself.
Didn't get the sweet joy of Laurie's slip of tongue, "my wife" though it is a nice little surprise still here. Off to watch the film again.
Still #1 Amy March fan. I was afraid the book wouldn't do her romance justice as it took too long for Jo to reject Laurie and then it was too soon that he's reuniting with Amy. But the explanations were well done and still delivered on the romance I crave. It's rare that I'm all for heterosexual romances, but I fuck with this one heavy.
