My six year old son and I read this aloud together and what an amazing story! The characters are lovable and the story moves quickly. It's an enchanting tale about how the Loch Ness Monster, named Crusoe, came to find a home, a story about love and taking care of each other. It's a lesson for young children that even if you love something there are times you must let it go because it is what is best for them.
It is a wonderful family book to read together.
