As Time Goes By by Mary Higgins Clark

3.0

Had not read Mary Higgins Clark in a very long time, perhaps two decades, and figured it was time to get reacquainted since she remains a popular author with many library patrons.

What I found was that her style was completely familiar, as if we had never been parted. I suppose this means she has not changed her style much over four decades of writing. It has a very Perry Mason type feel to it as each character is examined as the possible culprit in a murder case. While formulaic (basic murder, cast of possible evildoers, girl that needs to be saved), this will appeal to those who want a distracting read without any overt violence and no sexual content.

Quick, uncomplicated read.
