Omg this book!! Seriously, I absolutely ADORED Nora! She is a total strong, classy, and amazing woman! She has had so many challenges thrown her way and I totallllllly love her!
I wouldn't really classify this one as a romance, even through there is some romantic aspects to it. This is more of a this-chick-is-awesome-and-here-is-her-lifes-story, ya know? Basically, if you love a strong woman, amazing characters, and a totally awesome story line, then this is for you!!
Nora is from a suuuuper small town in Maine, where everyone knows everyones business. Having left there as a teenager without returning, Nora decides to head home to recover after getting hit by a car.
One of the things that I liked the best about this story is that there is sooo much mystery to it! Like the plot kinda sounds like the same ole' come home and rediscover yourself read, but in reality there is a ton of mystery to it! We are constantly trying to figure out what happened in the past! I had so many questions while reading (Why did she leave? What bad thing? Who is this guy? What happened with her dad?) that I seriously COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN until I had everything answered!!
I also am totally obsessed with Nora's niece, Poe! I loved her attitude and how she adds so much to the story!
This was such a fun and refreshing read!! Can't wait to pick up more books by [a:Kristan Higgins|317354|Kristan Higgins|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1459194961p2/317354.jpg]!
