My two moods while reading this book from start to finish. I'm always sooooo intrigued to start Colleen Hoover, because I know she wouldn't fail me (even, I'm disappointed with [b:Layla|52089753|Layla|Colleen Hoover|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1593095775l/52089753._SY75_.jpg|76893124]). So, I picked up [b:Verity|41957126|Verity|Colleen Hoover|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1537519686l/41957126._SY75_.jpg|64581304] with so much enthusiasm, and I know it's a romance-suspense thriller, so maybe I'd be prepared to not expect too much on this after what happened with [b:Layla|52089753|Layla|Colleen Hoover|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1593095775l/52089753._SY75_.jpg|76893124].
So as usual, typical CoHo's writings, I'm drowning to this book at the very first sentence. And I just couldn't stop. That's what I love most from Colleen Hoover! The way she gripped the readers' attention to her book, from the very first page.

But, after I read Verity's manuscripts. Like, oh my God! WHAT THE FUCK. It was quite disturbing and that shit is sick. Even for me. My brain hurts so much everytime I have to read
[b:Verity|41957126|Verity|Colleen Hoover|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1537519686l/41957126._SY75_.jpg|64581304] is a hot-mess and jaw dropping book, the "smutty" part that so passion between Verity-Jeremy and/or Lowen-Jeremy got me so hooked and it's good. Colleen Hoover is never disappointed everytime she build up the hot-romance atmosphere in her books.

"But when a person finds someone who makes all the negativity in their lives disappear, it's hard not to feed off that person.

Other than the "smut" and jaw-dropping sick the story is, overall, this book is okay for me. I'm not impressed by the twist, and I'm not a huge fan of cheating or affairs kind-of-theme from a book.
