This has been on my tbr for a while. I have loved Ria Wilde's other books, but I was put off by the length of this one. And honestly, the length is where this book fails.
It is a really good, forced marriage, dark mafia romance. However there is a lot that doesn't need to be there. Especially once you get to the point of Amelia accepting Gabriel. The bit between then and the action towards the end drags.
The villain was a bit of a surprise. The resolution with the villain was what I had expected once I found out who it was, and it was sad.
I liked Amelia's development throughout.
All in all, a good read. Good tension. If you want a forced marriage dark mafia romance, you will enjoy this!
