have never hated a cast of characters more than this family. This book could be summed up as great tennis family has multigenerational trauma and just need to sit down and talk about it. The fact that the main antagonist has an issue when she walked in on the family on one bad day and took it so personally is also ridiculous. Also this did not need to be 71 chapters long we did not need the pov of every person the family interacted with or has observed the family over time either. There are a couple of good scenes on the book the fathers day chapter was good at bringing a lot of things to light. Also the chapter with the painting was also good as well. Other than that I couldn't stand half the characters in the book I hated the ended was so inconsequential nothing really happened.
If you want a who done it that will keep you guessing at what happened this might be for you. But just be prepared to soft through a lot of nothing for multiple chapters and pages.
