I read that this was a retelling of the legend of Tristan and Isolde from the New Camelot series. I have not read it but I am now intrigued. I rated this 3.5 stars
I listened to this book on Scribd while I read along in the paperback. I did love the narrator voice but for some reason it was read a bit fast paced.
Tristian retired the military looking for work. Suffering from PTSD, he realizes he will have to take an offer to be a bodyguard from someone he doesn't want to be working for, his new step uncle? Mark Trevena, who owns a DC high end private club.
At his sister's wedding, Mark is intrigued by Tristian and wants him. Reaches out to him to offer him a job and tries to make it to where he can't refuse. And he can't.
It is very spicy and good. The entire book, is about Tristian and Mark but there is a twist at the end. And since I didn't know anything about this book except who it was written by, I was shocked.
Now, I have to wait for book two!
