The Face by Dean Koontz

1.0

Some of the beginning and the climax was good, but the rest was condescending and cringe-worthy. Very "old man yells at cloud" stuff. The dude has no idea what anarchism actually is and constantly raves about how plastic and corrupt society is, and the ending read like a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie(which is my guilty pleasure, but did not work here). Also, this book would not pass the bechdel test by any means. There's only two significant female characters in the entire novel, and one is defined solely by her feelings for the protagonist while the other is solely defined by her meekness and beauty. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
