I was really intrigued by the first scene but it lost its draw after that. The story felt choppy, and I only found myself enjoying certain perspectives. It was hard to follow all of the different characters mentioned, especially those from other books I haven't read. This is my first Steven King novel and I don't feel like it was written for just anyone to pick up, you have to know all about Holly to enjoy the flashbacks. I will add that I didn't realize this was a 3rd book in a series. I don't do well with

cannibalism

so it's best for me to not finish it.
