A Song for Quiet by Cassandra Khaw
4.0
challenging dark mysterious tense slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

As odd and enthralling as Hammers on Bone, if a little less my speed--I like Deacon and Ana just fine, but my favorite part of Hammers was getting into the head of a creature distinctly Other, and I missed John Persons' perspective in this one.
