They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
5.0
When I started reading they both die at the end I never thought I would cry this hard, I've never cried over a book I get a little emotional yes but never even tearing up, but reading this exceptional book had me crying.
How death can be so close I you'd never know so you'll waist your last day... last hour and minute don't something that's not worth it at all just like Delilah.
Every second was painful to read seeing how they would die so young leaving all the people they love and care about behind. Knowing that they will never get the chance to see them again or say goodbye properly.
Mateo seeing his own grave and his tombstone knowing that he didn't live his life to the fullest as he expected he would but in the future that never came.
Rufous getting his phone call after beating up Peck knowing it's too late for him wishing they called earlier, then Peck ruining his funeral but giving him the chance to meet his "last friend" Mateo who brought up the best in him. Who "fixed him" as he said.
Them running away together trying to make a moment, Mateo bringing colors into Rufous's life, and Rufous helping Mateo become the brave guy who he always wanted by becoming "the Mario to his Luigi"
I'll never get over their little experiences trying to live it all in less than 24 hours enjoying every thing knowing it's their last.
