3,5 stars? i expected this to be a story about physical journeys (road trips) and i guess it was, in a way, because nana and satoru kept moving from place to place, but BOY was i taken on an unexpected feel trip. there was a focus on emotional journeys, which i didn't initially expect, but definitely loved. the stories were incredibly touching and... real. i lost count of how many times i teared up lol. i wasn't the biggest fan of sugi and chikako's story, though, i didn't like chikako being reduced to The Love Interest. the translation was also, in my opinion, a bit unsatisfactory at times. overall, a very gentle and poignant little story about the joys and sorrows of life - love, loss, loyalty, friendship, growth, hope, and so on.
