Idk whether to scream or cry right now!!! I think I’ll just settle for both because what was this ending! Omg this story was so sad and interesting and I was glued. When i took the day to do other activities besides reading I couldn’t stop thinking about getting back home to read and finish this book because I was so consumed with Mary and her story. And now I’m just staring at this book like what the heck!!! No way Ms. Jackson drops this knowledge and basically rides off into the sunset…
So my rating is 4 because while this was an amazing read, like hands down captivating, a page turner and I fell in love with the MC oddly considering. I am just not happy with this ending and I feel like something else needs to be said 🤷🏾♀️.
