I loved special topics so I couldn't wait to read night film. There are some really creative and original aspects of this book as I would expect from Pessl. But I never really got involved with the main characters who all (including Scott) seemed kind of flat to me. The ending was a little disappointing and some of it was both predictable and at the same time unbelievable. Big positives for originality and allegory and Pessl's writing is always fluid & lovely. But plot and characters left a bit to be desired. Do not read this on a kindle - the type on the news articles is tiny!!
