Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edwin A. Abbott

4.0

Flatland deserves the reputation is has for being a very concise and fun story about a man who learns his universe is so much bigger than expected.

The society of Flatland is comically fucked up and really fun to hear laid out, I particularly liked how the main character is sort of a snobbish arse, really unlikeable.

And the revelations that come after the halfway point are great, especially line land and the somewhat confusing explanation of Space land.
