I found the first book to be interesting, and absolutely love Celaena Sardothien (FMC). I however struggled to understand the significance of Kaltain. Yes, she did drug the wine, and was one of the first "experiments" of the king and duke, but I struggled still to understand her significance and purpose in the story compared to other strong characters such as Nehemiah. However, I've only read the first book, so we will see! Overall much of these characters are lovable such as Nehemiah, Dorian, Nox and also Chaol, but I feel like his character is very mysterious and I know thier is more about him in COM. Overall, really enjoyed reading this book, and excited for the next!
