Greenwich Park by Katherine Faulkner
3.0

I would give this a 3.5 if i could; Greenwich Park is interesting in its narration, the "facts" of the plot changing with the sometimes biased and sometimes unreliable viewpoints of each character. The characters and their histories are intriguing and mysterious, and the small bits of memories peeking through the main timeline made me curious to keep reading. Helen's position to the events with the crimes taking place is very unique in terms of other crime stories, and it was interesting to read from the perspective of someone on the edge of an event yet unaware of so many key details.

I only somewhat agree with other criticism that the book is paced a bit slowly; there is quite a bit of exposition, but given the many layers to this plot and the several perspectives I can't think of anything significant that could have been cut out to "speed up" the plot in a big way. The pacing was fine in my opinion, and as the book progressed I could feel Helen's unease through the increasingly odd behavior of the people around her.
